Abby's violin recital

Here is my second try at the blog and so far so good. Meaning I remembered my username and password.
Last night Abby had a violin recital. We made it a big night by first of all making sure everyone was there. Garrett missed his baseball game and Dylan and Glenn had to leave theirs early. We saw an LDS commercial last week that showed a girl at a violin recital with the audiance looking quite bored. When she finished her piece her family erupted with cheers, posters and and foam finger, like would happen at a sporting event. We thought it was a great idea so we planned to do the same for Abby. I made the posters and Dylan, Garrett and Zach planned on being the screaming fans. Abby didn't have her song down quite as well as she should have and she was pretty nervous. She played it through though and it was fine. When she finished we jumped up and cheered and held the signs and she turned so red! We completely caught her off guard. As she came to her seat she started giggling and kept giggling through the next couple of songs. It was sooo great. I was really grateful to Glenn that he insisted on everyone being there. He told the boys that she supports them through all of their stuff so now it was her turn. I got some cute pictures before the recital so I'll try to post them.
