The epitome of laziness

Here's the senario this morning. It's the second day of school, the newness is gone. We get up at 6:30. We've done scriptures, breakfast, supply gathering and sent everyone out the door. William wakes up. I'm thinking quick bowl of cereal and then back to bed for me. He throws a wrench in- he wants pancakes. The solution.

Thought process:

One pancake to flip.
One pancake to fix up. (Peanut butter and syrup at our house.)
One pancake to cut.
I'm out of there.

It's the automatic dog feeder approach. Maybe it will even carry him through lunch too. Well goodnight!

How to make a hockey puck.

Recipe by Emily Taylor
Step one: Get out the Easy Bake Oven.
Step two: Prepare cake mix and pour into tiny Easy Bake cake pan.
Step three: Attempt baking tiny cake in Easy Bake oven.
Step four (very important): Determine that 100 watt light takes too darn long to bake cake.
Step five: Place cake, tin and all in microwave oven and set for 5 minutes.
Step six: Press start.

When air is too smokey to see hand in front of face Hockey Puck is done:)
