Go Utah?

Since I don't keep up on my blog as well as I'd like, I will be borrowing from ESPN and The Ensign by posting an occasional "Classic". Here's one from back in November.

No do not adjust your monitors you are seeing correctly. This is proof to a little known fact about Glenn that he will do anything for a buck. Although we are true BYU fans Glenn and his friend came up with this idea for a t-shirt after BYU started losing and Utah was still undefeated in football. It played on BYU's pre-season quest for perfection slogan and T-shirt. Glenn started selling the shirts and as Utah kept winning the project grew. They even had them approved by the University of Utah so they were sold in the bookstore for a time. This was a day when Glenn decided to wear the sweatshirt out shopping to advertise it. The idea played on my natural rebellious nature so I donned one too. We were hoping for more contention as we hit a couple of Utah County stores but nobody seemed to care. Most people did read them and we caught a lot of embarrassed smiles but that was about it. Oh well I guess we need to be on U of U turf when looking for a fight:)

Vegetables!!!

Just a quick post since it's been so long. Here are some pictures of amazing vegetables! The first is our potato duck. We just couldn't cook him, being a duck and all so he sat around for a long time on the kitchen window sill until he got all withery then I finally took a picture and tossed him. Sorry to all you potato duck lovers out there. Rest in peace potato duck.

The next is our massive zucchini. I know massive zucchini's are common but this was our first year to plant zucchini so it was a proud moment for the Taylors! Zucchini bread anyone??

Here's Garrett "pumping zucchini". Maybe gardening will put some meat on his bones!
