My policy is not to start music lessons until around the age 9-10 but I had to go ahead and start William. The reason? He won't stop playing the piano. The girls taught him a few little songs like the standards "heart and soul" and the Indian song, and I just assumed he would lose interest. But no, he keeps learning more songs like "Castle on a Cloud" and "Called to Serve". Here is his latest which is pretty much why the lessons started. (Sorry it's sideways.)
