And the walls came down

Three years ago we finished the last room in our basement, a family room. Three years ago we took in a stray nephew who needed to kill some time before his mission and the family room became a temporary bedroom. When the original nephew, Ben, left for Spain the back-up nephew, Zach, took his place. When the original returned 2 years later the back-up moved to Provo to go to school and the original resumed residency. Well the original just moved to Provo for school and he took along an original son to boot. In summary, Ben and Dylan have moved out.
What does this all mean?
The temporary bedroom is gone and we now have a very empty family room downstairs.
I cook for 6 now instead of 8.
We no longer have 3, yes 3, extra cars in the driveway.
I can now get the basement carpets cleaned.
I only have 4 children:(
It was sad to see them go but don't worry we plan to fill the void in our lives with a ping-pong table.
Here are some pictures from moving day.
Ben pointing to the cubicle walls that made his bedroom.

Dylan trying to contain his sadness and apprehension about moving out.

Loading the truck with a bed and a tent cot. The new place wasn't furnished so the free section of KSL has been their best friend.

The family room.

Coming soon ping-pong tournaments at Taylors house!
